Job Description:

This job is responsible for leading the most complex technical designs that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include facilitating deployment of the most complex technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Overview:

The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for leading design, implementation, and maintenance of critical Cloud provided Identity systems . This role involves leading work efforts from inception to lifecycle management i.e. identity creation, root accounts analysis following all the best practices. Ability to develop detailed architectural diagrams to meet complex business/technical requirements. Candidate should have in depth knowledge about AWS, Azure Cloud environment. With specific knowledge about Identity Services.

Responsibilities:

Serves as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes
Develops software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes and contributes to the technology strategy for end-to-end engineering solutions and provides feedback to the architecture teams
Translates business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies
Participates in various steering committees for technical and infrastructure service domains
Leads the evaluation of reference models, blueprints and playbooks to ensure they are fit for purpose
Mentors and guides team members to ensure system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards
Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Cloud Engineer with architecture experience that includes designing, implementing and maintaining complex enterprise scale solutions security systems
Overarching broad and deep technical knowledge of various Cloud related Identity systems
Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of implementing and supporting Entra ID
Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of implementing and supporting AWS Identity Center and AWS IAM
Hands-on experience implementing security services on AWS and Azure
Extensive knowledge of Identity best-practices, latest security threats/trends and mitigation thereof
Advanced scripting experience and capabilities using python PowerShell, and/or similar technologies
Deep, in-depth working knowledge MFA, SSO and federation technologies?
Experience and confidence to be the subject matter expert (SME) in an environment of this size and scale in order to coordinate technical efforts and resolve issues across multiple teams
Excellent communication skills, including proven experience effectively communicating technical challenges and solutions to peers, customers and senior management
General understanding of Certificate Authorities and PKI
Advanced knowledge of authentication tools and services
Extensive experience using various technologies such as REST, WebApi, SQL, ORM, IoC, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, CI/CD, Terraform Enterprise
Ability to write intermediate to advanced LDAP queries

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or relevant experience
Certifications of Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) or AWS Certified Security Specialty
Encryption and key management tools, processes and procedures
Secrets management tools, processes and procedures
