HashiCorp Vault Specialist Hybrid:

Jersey City, NJ 6-12 month Contract We are seeking a skilled HashiCorp Vault Integration Developer with a strong background in Privileged Access Management (PAM) to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on designing and integrating secret management solutions using HashiCorp Vault within modern DevOps environments and third-party applications. Candidates should have experience with scripting and automation, particularly in Python, and be available to support production deployments during weekend rotations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and implement HashiCorp Vault for secure secret management. Integrate Vault with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and 3rd-party applications. Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, PowerShell, Lambda, or Terraform to manage secrets at scale. Configure Vault authentication methods, policies, and secret engines. Ensure secure access, auditability, and compliance for all Vault-related operations. Collaborate cross-functionally with development, operations, and security teams to embed Vault into DevOps workflows. Troubleshoot and monitor Vault performance, availability, and errors. Provide documentation, training, and support on Vault usage and best practices. Participate in on-call support rotation one weekend per month (comp time provided).

Required Qualifications:

1-3 years of hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault (enterprise or open source) including integration with DevOps pipelines and external applications. Strong experience with Python scripting for automation and integration tasks. Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD concepts, and cloud-native platforms. Strong understanding of access control, secrets management, and infrastructure as code (IaC). Strong background in

PAM Preferred/Bonus Skills:

Experience implementing and supporting CyberArk (Password Vault, PSM, CPM, PSMP). Experience with BeyondTrust Privileged Remote Access and Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM). Familiarity with Terraform, AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, and Vault integrations.
