Computer Systems engineer Position Available In New York, New York

•  Using computer science, mathematical and statistical techniques to ensure the proper functioning of system architecture and including trading applications, including risk management,derivative valuation, and commodities trading,
•  Determining the efficacy of and further developing existing and new architectural and software systems, test plans, products, and analytics so as to eliminate quality issues such as bugs.
•  Coordinating with other professionals to analyze and ensure the proper functioning of computer systems relating to trading strategies, market conditions, and trading systemperformance.
•  Working with product development teams to develop systems and programs to enhance the quality and efficacy of these solutions.
•  Establishing testing parameters to implement quality assurance of data collection methods and recommending updates when necessary.
•  Interpreting results of testing and quality control analysis, maintain data base of results, and preparing summary reports of findings.
•  Presenting oral reports and written summaries and reports for management
•  Consulting financial industry personnel, such as traders, to determine the need for new or improved systems including analytical software applications.
•  Researching or developing software tools to address quality control and efficacy issues for aspects of systems such as portfolio construction or optimization, performance measurement,attribution, profit and loss measurement, or pricing models.
•  Conferring with other computer engineers, financial engineers or analysts to understand how to better test and optimize the efficacy of trading strategies, market dynamics, or tradingsystem performance to inform development of quantitative techniques.
•  Collaborating in the development or testing of new analytical software and systems to ensure compliance with user requirements, specifications, or scope.

We also accept bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 2 years experience in computer engineering or equivalent
