Data Platform Engineer

Data Platform Engineer New York

Your duties
Onboards new software platforms including configuration, security, integration, and support.
Ensures the stability and operability of the environment by monitoring health checks, performance, and logs.
Performs regular maintenance such as upgrades and patching.
Your expertise
Experience with at least one scripting languages (bash, python, powershell)
Experience supporting Linux (mostly RHEL but other variants as well) and Windows
Excellent knowledge of Azure services relevant for building cloud platforms (i.e. AKV, Azure Blob, etc.)
Hands-on experience working with security protocols (i.e. OAuth, SCIM, Key Vaults, TLS, IDM).
Understands enterprise network topology such as firewalls, VLANs, private links, and private endpoints.
Hands-on experience with Terraform (especially for cloud-based platforms).
Considered an advantage
Experience with orchestration platforms like Apache Airflow.
Experience with Databricks
Experience with Kafka, especially in a Kubernetes environment.
Experience with RedHat OpenShift or similar Kubernetes managed service.
