You’ll get to work with the latest technology paradigms on Google Cloud including modularity, functional programming and reactive applications. More specifically you’ll: Architect and build high-performance, responsive web services and APIs to support our client-facing asset management platforms Model the business data into the right data store Add automations to the infrastructure Hands-on code, write unit testing and conduct code reviews Work directly with Ethic’s engineering, product, design, and business teams throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle Who you are: You identify with our company Principles that define our culture, guide our actions, and allow us to do our best work: We are In Service of others – our clients, our colleagues, the company, and the world. You’re passionate about positively impacting the future of our planet and humanity. What you’ll bring to the table: 5+ years of working experience Expert knowledge of Java Expert knowledge of RDBMS. NoSQL experience a plus Strong understanding of functional programming paradigms Understand the unique set of performance challenges, concerns, and tradeoffs inherent to web applications Familiarity with unit testing tools Proven track record delivering performant web applications Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture Passionate about software and technology

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation at Ethic is a combination of base salary, equity (stock options) in the company, and benefits. The base salary for this role will range from $175,000-$195,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
