The Solutions Team within AHEAD’s Digital Solutions Group are thought leaders, program leaders, and technical experts that collaborate with our AHEAD Account Teams to help identify, qualify and build the solutions that support our customers Digital Business. The responsibilities of a Solutions Senior Consultant are highly customer facing and include working closely with AHEAD teams to drive the sales and delivery Digital Solutions consulting services.
Focused primarily on successful delivery but utilizes their position to identify client needs and relationships and good will with the client. Senior Consultants keep in close contact with clients throughout the duration of the project as part of their official duties.
Responsibilities Client Delivery:
Facilitate sections of strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops
Ensure that customer expectations are appropriately set and managed
Drive and manage the objectives, requirements gathering, project tasks/milestone, project status, dependencies, and timelines, to ensure engagements are delivered successfully and on time while meeting the business objectives
Breaks down the problem into manageable segments, identifies the factors that affect the problem and decides how to approach the project
Creation and editing on project deliverables
Presentation of deliverables to client executive management
Business Development:
On occasion, support business development pursuits through client discovery meetings that help qualify opportunities and allow the ideation of a strawman proposal
On occasion, represent service offerings during the sales cycle, including project scoping, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clients
Practice Development & Thought Leadership:
Participate in the development and enhancement AHEAD Digital Solutions services offerings, including consulting offerings and deployment services
Technology thought leader and evangelist
Maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the current and anticipated future state of the IT marketplace including IT trends, technologies, and standards
Mentor to team members
Qualifications
Minimum of four years of executive technology consulting experience
Highly experienced leading large transformational engagements
Highly knowledgeable in Digital Solutions & business transformation utilizing technical capabilities AHEAD supports today:
Digital Strategy and Adoption
Cloud-Native Architecture Patterns & Development
Cloud Migrations
Digital Product Management
Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Infrastructure as Code adoption
Cloud Application Modernization
Cloud Data Modernization
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle principles
Previous practical experience in pre-sales or defining and qualifying technical requirements for procurements preferred
Results Oriented
Strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable presenting to customers at the Engineering & Executive Level
Capable of building technical solutions that solve business needs & outcomes
Ability to motivate others to achieve results
Able to work well within the team and with partners
Customer focused
Able to work within customer deadlines

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
