Site Reliability Engineer Position Available In New York, New York

Site Reliability Engineer (Citadel Enterprise Americas Services LLC – New York, NY); Multiple positions available: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, quantitative, and software engineering teams, to support and enhance Citadel’s core suite of trading applications with the latest, most cutting-edge technology in order to proactively diagnose and resolve production issues. Monitor the health of production trading applications as demanded by daily business operations and will respond to real-time systems alerts, escalating and communicating to relevant parties when necessary. Provide first level triage and resolution to issue and/or feature requests and will coordinate incident tracking follow-ups. Contribute to overall service quality by providing subject-matter expertise of multiple production silos, covering multiple asset classes, from inception to scale up. Support large-scale, distribute applications to lead, on a rotational basis, pre-trading and post-trading verification processes and hand-off to trading teams. Liaise with platform and partnered teams to develop and refine the DevOps engineering skillset.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field. Education, training, or experience must include: Unix/Linux based systems; Shell scripting; SDLC workflows; Programming with SQL; and Supporting large-scale distributing applications.
