Interview process will be 2 rounds technical and will include a hackerrank exercise within each round.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
1. Maintaining and updating Windows-based golden images for ESX and AWS.
2. Patching software and systems through scripting or manual processes.
3. Disaster recovery planning and testing for various products and distributed systems.
4. Deploying and maintaining infrastructure and applications in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
5. Automating processes for building VM images and improving telemetry.
Required Skills
The required skills for this role include:
1. Scripting skills in PowerShell and Python.
2. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Terraform, and Packer.
3. Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as ESXi and OpenStack.
4. AWS operations experience with services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and ELB.
5. Windows administration skills and basic navigation skills with Linux.
6. Basic understanding of networking concepts and security protocols like HTTPS and TLS.
Nice to Have
1. Experience with remote access protocols like RDP or Citrix.
2. Prior experience with distributed systems.
