Weare looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to Perform SoftwareSystems Engineering for the development and sustainment phases of aproject relative to mission planning software supporting aircraftand weapons systems.

Clearance:
An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation andmay need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classifiedinformation. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements:
At least ten (10) years of experience in SystemsEngineering supporting DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems,DoD mission systems or DoD support systems, consisting of thedesign, development, integration and system testing of computerhardware and software Ability to decompose requirements intotechnical system and software requirements Strong communication(written/ oral) and presentations skills and strong criticalthinking and reasoning skills
Responsibilities:
Evaluate theability of new capabilities, updated hardware, and updated softwareto meet system and mission performance requirements. Develop,review, and comment on H-60 software requirements during thedevelopment and sustainment phases of a project based uponinformation provided by the program office. Tasks will includedeveloping trade-off studies, engineering approach analyses, systemimplementation analyses, and performing research to providerecommendations. Make recommendations about human systemsengineering.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with DODSystems Engineering Technical Reviews, Systems Software andSystems-of-Systems engineering, model-based systems engineeringapproaches, and systems safety & reliability Experience withMission Planning Software, DOORS ® , Atlassian Jira and Confluence,and agile project development lifecycle
Education:
BS or BA degreein a Technical Discipline.
Compensation:
Compensation atSimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, butnot limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training,security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, andcompetencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensationplan and contract specific requirements. The projected annualcompensation range for this position is $115,000.00 – $175,900(USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for thisposition and is just one component of the total compensationpackage that SimVentions offers.
