Description Computer Systems Engineer, RF Services, Inc. Morgantown, PA. Remote Position. Design solutions to ensure the compatibility of wireless telecommunications systems (LTE&CRAN).
Duties include:
Perform system health checks to a site prior to work beginning to determine any issues on site and post-checks after the work is completed; Request approval from telephone company for a site bounce and site shutdown if needed; Provide technical support for the troubleshooting of systems; Document parameter changes, generate reports and include instructions for upcoming integrations on new sites/bands; Monitor system operation to detect potential problems; Conduct software tests; Investigate system component suitability for specified purposes and make recommendations regarding component use; and Complete models and simulations, using manual or automated tools. Requirements include Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and experience with monitoring system operations, modeling and simulation testing and creation of manual documentation.
