Systems Engineer Position Available In Chester, Pennsylvania

Description We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This Contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing critical infrastructure across both on-premise and Azure environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure and scalable infrastructure solutions in Azure and on-premise environments.
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC), ensuring modularity, reusability, and security.
• Proactively research and apply industry best practices to address infrastructure challenges and ensure reliable implementations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and document infrastructure changes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement strategies to ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts within the team.
• Identify potential risks, seek guidance when needed, and take actions to safeguard business operations. Requirements
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration.
• Proficiency in Terraform and expertise in infrastructure as code principles.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
• Hands-on experience managing on-premise infrastructure, including networking, virtualization, and storage.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek collaboration or escalate issues.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Commitment to operational excellence and adherence to security best practices.
