We are rapidlygrowing and expanding our infrastructure stack and adopting SREbest practices. You will be joining the Sentinel team. We build,operate, and constantly improve our infrastructure offerings for150 client organizations. The team achieves our business goals byadopting best infrastructure practices and leveraging 100%automation to scale our product offerings and reduce costs. Youwill work with passionate team members across the country, and toaccomplish our goal: reduce the burden of disease. Looking back onyour first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have… Havedeveloped a deep understanding of Sentinel and Sentinel’s customersHave built and operated cloud infrastructure (AWS) based oncustomer requirements Have solved any development and deploymentchallenges around making Sentinel’s infrastructure highly reliable,easy to maintain, and cost effective Have participated in thedevelopment, execution, and support of the new feature rollout withsolution architects and customer success teams Have developed andcontributed to existing and new monitoring and alerting systems forSentinel infrastructure Have hardened infrastructure securityincluding network, storage, user access etc. Have responded andsolved key customer reported issues in a timely manner Participatedin an on-call rotation What you bring to

Komodo Health:

Minimum of3-5 years of experience Excited about automation, building scalabletechnical solutions, and being a team player Proficiency in atleast one of the mainstream programming languages such as Pythonand/or Java, with deep technical troubleshooting skills Proficiencyin Terraform, Scalr, and or other similar tools Experience withAWS’s core services and their relationships; ability to createsolutions based on users’ high-level descriptions, learn new cloudtechnologies and use them as needed, etc. Hands-on experience inbuilding CI/CD pipelines using GitActions, Jenkins, etc. Hands-onexperience in networking, subnets, CIDR, etc. that are applicableto deploying applications and making sure they are accessible toour users across the globe Hands-on experience with scripting (bashand/or power shell) Knowledge of operating system basics (Linuxand/or Windows) Knowledge of main cloud vendors and big-data toolsand frameworks like Snowflake, Airflow, and/or Spark Workingknowledge of data modeling, schema design, data storage withrelational (e.g. PostgreSQL), NoSQL(e.g. DynamoDB, Redis), MPPdatabases (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) Excellent cross-teamcommunication and collaboration skills, with the ability toinitiate and effectively drive projects proactively Additionalskills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)… Experiencewith AWS preferred. AWS Cloud Infrastructure certification is aplus. Backend development experience such as building APIs andmicro services using Python, Java, or any other mainstreamprogramming languages Experience with data privacy concerns such asHIPAA or GDPR Experience working with cross-functional teams andwith other customer-facing teams Passion! Opento remote with preference for SF Hybrid LIRemote Compensation atKomodo Health The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimumand maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay acrossall U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. Wecarefully consider multiple business-related factors whendetermining compensation, including job-related skills, workexperience, geographic work location, relevant training andcertifications, business needs and market demands. The U.S.national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below.

This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses asdetermined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance witha written agreement or plan. $134,000 – $209,000 USD Where You’llWork Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the powerof choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of bothour company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completelyremote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in aspecific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubsin San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote workoptions.
