As a Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer at PingIdentity, you will be involved in every facet of our cloud-basedservices. You will establish solutions for building, deploying, andmaintaining the infrastructure of one of the largest identityplatforms in the world.
We follow a DevOps model:
Development andOperations teams are integrated, running continuous deploymentsdaily, and collaborate in the solutions development, deployment,and operations.
What Youll Do:
Work collaboratively andindependently to design and deliver solutions as well as review andprovide feedback for those delivered by other engineers for oursoftware and services on our cloud hosted productioninfrastructure. Shape how our mission-critical enterprise softwaresolutions are developed and deployed using optimized and automatedCI/CD pipelines that ensure high quality products Help design,build and support infrastructure and security technologies withinthe cloud that offer resiliency, observability and optimized cost.
Communicate proactively and effectively to different kinds ofaudiences within the company. Share your own experience, knowledgeand expertise with others to help them grow and develop.
Participate in planning work and identify areas of improvementPerform technology evaluation and selection Participate in anon-call rotation for maintenance of the cloud solutions.
What YouBring:
Experience in scalable, distributed systems architectureExperience with Cloud Platforms Experience of programming using GoExperience with containerization technologies, including DockerExperience with orchestration technologies, including KubernetesExperience defining and implementing automated service deployments,including provisions for networking, security, reliability,management, reporting, and configuration management In-depthunderstanding of best practices for deployment automationExperience using Git in a team environment (pull requests,branching, push, and pulls) CS Degree or equivalent experience Youwill have an advantage if: You have an in-depth understanding ofnetworking, including routing, naming, security, networkperformance, and network failure modes You have an in-depthunderstanding of identity and access management You have experiencewith instrumentation and management of automated deployments Youhave experience resolving customer deployment issues You haveworked with distributed teams You understand CI/CD processes, andhave some experience building CI/CD pipelines
Salary:
$152,500-$190,875 In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for EqualWork Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for thisrole in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this rolewill be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills,and abilities. Life at
