The Frontend Developer Platform team is part of thegreater Infrastructure organization with a shared mission to driveengineering velocity for all teams. Responsibilities:

Identify pain points infrontend web development workflows and implement solutions toimprove developer productivity and happiness. Build and maintaininternal tools, libraries, and frameworks that enhance frontenddevelopment efficiency across the company. Define and advocate forSDLC best practices tailored to frontend development, ensuringconsistency, quality, and scalability. Champion performancemonitoring, logging, and error-tracking best practices to enhanceapplication reliability and maintainability. Conduct workshops,create documentation, and mentor engineers to drive adoption offrontend best practices across teams. Research emerging frontendtechnologies, assess their applicability to the organization, andguide their adoption when beneficial.

Ideal Candidate will have:

Frontend Development Expertise

  • Substantial experience with modernfrontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. API Design andIntegration
  • Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs, includingdesigning client-side data fetching patterns and optimizing APIinteractions. Frontend Performance Optimization
  • Strongunderstanding of performance profiling, browser rendering behavior,and strategies for improving application speed and efficiency.

Testing Frameworks

  • Experience with unit, integration, andend-to-end testing tools such as Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, orPlaywright. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Experience workingacross team and organizational boundaries; experience workingclosely with backend, infrastructure, product, and design teams.

Technical Writing and Documentation

  • Ability to produce clear,concise technical documentation and tutorials to drive adoption oftools and best practices. Emerging Technology Evaluation
  • Experience researching, evaluating, and advocating for new frontendtechnologies or tools to improve team productivity.

$138,380
