Come dowork that matters. The Platform Foundation Team is one of the coreplatform teams that provide foundational components for theentirety of Blend engineering. We build the core pieces offunctionality that power experiences across all of our productlines. The Platform Foundation Team provides frameworks that otherengineering teams can utilize to build business solutions. Thisincludes diverse offerings like the public api/webhook, email/sms,events, search, payment and other common services. We areevangelists for bringing cutting-edge technology into Blend tosolve business problems in new and inventive ways. Our goal is tobuild a solid foundation for Blend to create a scalable andresilient ecosystem. The challenges we face are both highlytechnical and highly impactful, providing a lever for all ofengineering to deliver value to our customers faster and better! Weare looking for engineers who are passionate about distributedsystems design, software architecture, scalability, and buildingintuitive products for their users. We are looking for a strongcollaborator who is willing to work with feature development teamsto understand their needs from the platform, to design solutionsthat fulfill their immediate needs but that also establish goodpatterns for the long-term scalability and maintainability of ourproducts.

How youll contribute:

Design and build distributedsystems for long-term scalability and maintainability Collaboratewith feature development teams to understand their needs from theplatform Build tools to enable developer productivity Monitorproduction systems for issues Who you are: Minimal 3 years ofworking experience as backend software developer Coding experiencewith any major language, like TypeScript/JavaScript, Golang,Python, Java, C#, etc. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science orequivalent education background Excellent communication skills forcollaborating with other teams Ability and willingness to helpothers succeed and be productive

Final base pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiplefactors, including but not limited to function, level, geographiclocation, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base paywill be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
