Job Description The Manager of Enterprise Systems will lead the design, implementation, and operation of the firm’s enterprise application portfolio and endpoint systems. This role will manage a team of Enterprise Systems and Endpoint Engineers responsible for application lifecycle management, system configuration, desktop engineering, and technical operations across a 2200+ user environment. The Manager will collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and other technology teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing systems that support firm objectives and enhance the end user experience. Responsibilities Provide architectural and operational leadership for the firm’s enterprise software portfolio and endpoint computing environment. Oversee enterprise application lifecycle activities including product selection, integration, configuration, deployment, updates, and retirement. Lead the technical configuration and management of the firm’s endpoint computing systems including OS image design, patching, application packaging and deployment for 2200+ endpoints. Manage the full lifecycle of over 300 legal and productivity applications including the firm’s document management, conflicts, and time entry systems, covering configuration, distribution, updates, and user support. Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing team of enterprise system and endpoint engineers. Partner with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors to align technology with business needs and drive successful project outcomes. Maintain up-to-date expertise in technologies, products, and systems relevant to enterprise computing, including endpoint management and application delivery. Participate in firm-wide IT initiatives and ensure alignment with IT best practices, security standards, and architectural strategy. Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for performance, efficiency, and user experience improvements. Develop and execute test plans to validate performance, security, scalability, and recoverability of enterprise systems. Mentor team members and promote architectural best practices and professional development. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise application design and management, including full lifecycle planning, implementation, and support. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing technical staff. 2 Minimum of 7 years of experience with enterprise configuration management tools in environments with 1,000+ users; Intune/SCCM strongly preferred. Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows and Active Directory architecture and operations. Experience using Azure services such as Entra ID, Intune (Endpoint Manager), and Autopilot to manage endpoints and enforce security and compliance policies. Familiarity with cloud-based policy management using Intune configuration profiles and administrative templates as modern equivalents to traditional Group Policy. Excellent planning, leadership, and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and manage vendor relationships.
Working Conditions:
This position is based in Philadelphia, PA. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week required onsite in Philadelphia (Tu, Wed, Th). Onsite requirements may evolve over time. The role may require work outside of standard business hours to support operational needs.
