•Universal Conversion Technologies II, L.P.•seeks Senior Data Migration Specialist in

Philadelphia, PA:

Perform the analysis and mapping of legacy data structures to modern systems for insurance and software companies; Work closely with clients and IT teams to extract, correct, test and transfer legacy system data to new systems; Serve as a subject matter expert in insurance products and systems; Drive data migration needs of the client around policy administration, legacy data, business processes (especially life, P&C, and annuity), technical processes, and solving incompatibilities between customer needs and legacy system data; Create, document, and modify requirements using automated tools; Work with team leads to identify and solve source and target system data gaps; Develop and document unit and integration testing using automated tools; and, Support the Project Manager with statuses and follow ups. •Requirements•: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), or Information Technology, or foreign equivalent and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In lieu of a Master’s degree, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), or Information Technology, or foreign equivalent and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Knowledge of:

Insurance industry systems; Insurance products, processing, common data issues and data mapping; At least one of the following systems: LifePro, InsPro, Sunguard, Ingenium, Vantage One, Cyberlife, CK4, Life70, CFO, Sapiens- ALIS, Accenture ALIP, PALLM, PolicyLink, Oracle OIPA, LIDP, FAST or Guidewire; At least two of the following insurance company functional areas: Customer service, Enrollment, Finance, Annuities, Policy Owner Services, Insurance Administration Systems, Underwriting and Policy Issue Systems, Premium Billing Systems, Agency Systems and Actuarial Systems; Legacy modernization and platform migration; Data extraction and transformation; and, the entire software development lifecycle. National and international travel required up to 10% of the time for work at client sites.
