As we embark on an ambitious journey of digital transformation, we are seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer to spearhead our Digital Transformation Pioneering & Deployment team. This pivotal role is at the heart of our mission to redefine our Industrial Operations X Innovation Portfolio and develop and deploy novel Enterprise Solution Architectures with innovation customers and partners, driving innovation through digital excellence and collaboration. We are looking for a Systems Engineer-Xcelerator Deployment. This position is remotely based in the United States. You’ll make an impact by: Execute technical incubation and validation of deployment projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and external integration partners to ensure timely and successful implementation. Support the rollout of novel solutions to customers, driving customer success and adoption
- Design and implement industrial edge computing solutions for real-time data processing and analysis
- Integrate AI-powered systems with existing industrial infrastructure
- Deploy and configure Copilot solutions for industrial automation
- Develop and maintain SCADA system integrations
- Create intuitive UI/UX designs for industrial control interfaces
- Lead technical requirement gathering and solution architecture design
- Ensure seamless data flow between legacy systems and modern platforms Make a difference for our customers and Siemens by applying innovative technologies to industrial operations Develop and deliver demonstrations to customers Manage and own customer co-innovation by establishing a trusted technical expert relationship with strategic partners/customers.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, or IT with a focus on automation, simulation, AI/ML. 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing processes and production operations in a variety of manufacturing industries. Experience with Siemens Industrial Automation products 5-10 years of Systems & Application Engineering, technical consulting, assessment, and customer co-innovation experience, incl. proof of concepts, defining requirements and scope, as well as hands-on deployment projects. 5-10 years of hands-on experience in implementing complex automation solutions involving:
- Industrial Edge computing platforms
- AI/ML deployment in industrial settings
- SCADA systems (preferably Siemens WinCC)
- OPC UA and industrial communication protocols
- Experience with industrial data integration using protocols like REST, MQTT, or
OPC UA 5-10
years of experience in programming skills in at least two: Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell 5-10 years of experience with the following technical skills:
- Understanding of industrial networks and TCP/IP architectures
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with industrial databases and time-series data handling Willingness and ability to travel 25% (domestic/international).
Must currently reside in the continental USA. Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing industrial infrastructure. Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools like Git, Jenkins, or Terraform for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD). Hands-on experience with Enterprise Kubernetes platforms (e.g., RedHat OpenShift) or container orchestration and microservices deployment. - 184,320 + an annual incentive target. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
