Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary :
SEACORP has 2 full-time openings forSystem Engineers in Newport, RI and Middletown, RI. In these positions, the candidates willprovide support in the development, review, and evaluation of requirements andrequirement specifications applicable to submarine weapons and weapon controlsystems. Previous experience with Strike Systems/Payload Integration and/or Submarine Combat Systems a plus.
Essential Capabilities :
Provide comments and/or recommended changes basedon design changes, performance improvements, deficiency corrections, and newsystem capabilities Candidates will be required to generate requirementsdocuments from high level capability statements, program roadmaps, stakeholderrequirements, and concept documents The scope of this task includesperformance, hardware, software, interface, and design requirements promulgatedin requirements documents or maintained in requirements databases This workwill require the utilization of creative thinking in problem solving, beingable to analyze data, and the ability to communicate findings using verbal andwritten communication skills Please note that an Active Secret Security Clearance is required on the date of hire.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline. 6 or more years of relative Navy experience can be substituted for a
Bachelor’s Degree Experience :
Minimum of 6 years related experience As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S.
