Contract Job Summary:
As an MES Lead , you will be responsible for the design and implementation choices of the MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) functional and technical solution. This is part of a deployment project for a large industrial account. Your role will involve collaborating with the client, understanding their needs, and implementing the Apriso solution and Operational Technology (OT) systems within the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in
Design Workshops :
Lead and engage in both general and detailed workshops to gather and understand the client’s business needs. You will be responsible for writing functional and technical specifications based on the outcomes of these workshops.
Ensure Solution Convergence :
Make sure the client’s expressed needs align with the standard operation of the Apriso solution. Ensure that the OT solution is also aligned with client expectations.
Implementation Choices :
Take charge of the implementation decisions in the solution, including the design and development processes.
Solution Realization :
Manage and participate in the actual realization of the solution, ensuring that all components of the project are executed smoothly.
Documentation :
Document activities carried out during the design, implementation, and deployment stages to ensure accurate records of the project lifecycle.
Acceptance Phases :
Organize and oversee the acceptance phases of the solution, ensuring that the final product meets the client’s specifications.
Integration and Delivery Management :
Secure and manage the integration phases, ensuring smooth transitions and the successful delivery of the solution to the client.
Client Interaction :
Maintain direct communication with the client throughout the project, particularly during the workshops, to ensure their needs are being met.
Convergence of Needs and Operations :
Ensure the convergence between the client’s needs and the standard operation of the OT solution, overseeing every aspect of the project to maintain alignment.
Required Technical Skills and Experience:
Experience :
A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and the Manufacturing domain .
Apriso Experience :
Must have hands-on experience with Apriso , specifically versions 2016 , 2017 , 2018 , 2019 , 2020 , or 2021 .
Dotnet Knowledge :
Strong knowledge and experience in dotnet development.
Solution Design/Architecture :
At least 3-5 years of experience in solution design or architecture , with hands-on involvement in the design and implementation of complex manufacturing solutions.
Process and System Integration :
Hands-on experience in Process Builder , Machine Integration , and Business Integration .
End-to-End MES Implementations :
Must have been part of at least 2 to 3 end-to-end MES implementations in Apriso and OT systems .
OT System Experience :
Proficient in OT (Operational Technology) systems, particularly with solutions such as OPC UA , Kepware , and Ignition .
Deployment and Release Management :
Well-versed in deployment and release management processes, with experience ensuring smooth rollouts of complex systems.
Realization and Deployment of OT Solutions :
Significant experience in the realization and deployment of OT solutions in the manufacturing environment.
Desired Soft Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working directly with clients and internal teams. Ability to supervise and coordinate acceptance and integration phases effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt the solution as per evolving business needs. Excellent documentation and reporting skills to maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Experience :
8-12 years in
MES , MOM
, and Manufacturing domain .
Technical Skills :
Expertise in Apriso versions, dotnet , OPC UA , Kepware , Ignition , and OT solutions .
Solution Design/Architecture :
3-5 years of Solution Design or Architecture experience. Proven hands-on experience in Process Builder , Machine Integration , and Business Integration .
