Your Role:

Well, that’s what you’ll be working on in this role. You will needto continue to quickly build out the platform, scale itautomatically, and make it more self-managing for our private andUS Government cloud customers!

Your Opportunity:

Responsible fortaking the code and functionality of Tenable cloud products andmaking them function in public and/or private cloud environmentsResponsible for assisting with customer support escalations whichinvolve troubleshooting complex technical problems and resolvingdata/configuration issues within defined service level objectivesResponsible for developing software, tools, and scripts to automatedeployment, management, and monitoring of production systems in allenvironments Provide strategic and thought leadership among peerson complex projects Collaboration with cloud engineers inunderstanding new cloud technologies, assessing impact to securityservices operations, and proposing solutions to existing businessproblems Collaboration in the software development lifecycle todevelop detailed enhancement/bug definitions, write functionalrequirements, translate the requirements into solution designs, andnavigate the functional requirements through to Productiondeployments Proactively look for ways to create efficiencies withinoperations as it pertains to the tools and technology used byTenable to support their customer base Manage, participate in, ordirectly work on any additional projects, assignments, orinitiatives assigned by management Create/maintain documentationfor operational procedures Document and perform system upgrades,application updates, and define/implement monitoring requirementsbased on customer needs Participate in an on-call rotation andsupport 24×7 availability of production application systemsRemediate infrastructure and container security vulnerabilities

What Youll Need:

U.S Citizen required Secret Clearance (Active) ORwilling & able to attain (at least) Secret Clearance 4 years ofrelated SRE experience 1 year experience with platform developmentin compliance with FedRamp requirements and related governmentstandards, policies, regulations, etc. Familiarity with FedRampcontrols and procedures Bachelors Degree or Masters degree in atechnical field such as Computer Science, Information TechnologyEngineering or equivalent work experience Strong experience withthe Agile software development methodology and collaboration withinternal teams to deliver software and configuration artifactsExperience with Incident Management processes and proceduresProficiency in Python and bash scripting to automate manual tasksand improve operational efficiency Experience with Docker orsimilar container solution Experience with orchestration toolingsuch as Kubernetes Experience with Terraform or similar IaCtechnologies 2 years deploying Amazon Web Services (AWS) publiccloud infrastructures preferred including administering managed AWSservices (OpenSearch, MSK, EKS, Batch, etc.) 1 years of operationalexperience with industry-leading “big data” services technologiesBe an enthusiastic learner, user, and advocate of our technologiesExperience working with

AWS APIs And Ideally:

Experience deployingand managing distributed, microservice oriented applicationsExperience working in FedRAMP (Moderate or high) environmentExperience working in Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level 5(IL5) environment Experience with Java build tools including GradleExperience with Helm Experience with Go and Java/Kotlin/KopsLI-Remote LI-LP1 This is the base pay range for this position.

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors,including the candidates qualifications, skills, competencies,location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.

Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in additionto base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-salesroles), depending on company and individual performance.
