Your Role:

Well, that’s what you’ll be working on in this role. You will needto continue to quickly build out the platform, scale itautomatically, and make it more self-managing for our private andUS Government cloud customers!

Your Opportunity:

Responsible fortaking the code and functionality of Tenable cloud products andensuring they’re reliable and highly available in private cloudenvironments Responsible for responding to support escalationswhich involve troubleshooting complex technical problems andresolving data/configuration issues within defined service levelobjectives Responsible for developing software, tools, and scriptsto automate deployment, management, and monitoring of productionsystems in all environments Provide strategic and thoughtleadership among peers on complex projects Collaboration with cloudengineers in understanding new cloud technologies, assessing impactto security services operations, and proposing solutions toexisting business problems Collaboration in the softwaredevelopment lifecycle to develop detailed enhancement/bugdefinitions, write functional requirements, translate therequirements into solution designs, and navigate the functionalrequirements through to Production deployments Proactively look forways to create efficiencies within operations as it pertains to thetools and technology used by Tenable to support their customer baseManage, participate in, or directly work on any additionalprojects, assignments, or initiatives assigned by managementCreate/maintain documentation for operational procedures Drivestandardization efforts across multiple disciplines and services inconjunction with embedded SREs throughout the organization Documentand perform system upgrades, application updates, and definemonitoring requirements based on customer needs Participate in anon-call rotation and support 24×7 availability of productionapplication systems Remediate infrastructure and container securityvulnerabilities

What Youll Need:

U.S citizen required 6 years ofrelated SRE experience Experience with Terraform or similar IaCtechnologies 2 year experience with platform development incompliance with FedRAMP requirements and related governmentstandards, policies, regulations, etc. 3 years deploying publiccloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred includingadministering managed AWS services (EKS, OpenSearch, MSK, Batch,etc.) Experience with orchestration tooling such as KubernetesExperience with Docker or similar container solution BachelorsDegree or Masters degree in a technical field such as ComputerScience, Information Technology Engineering or equivalent workexperience Strong experience with the Agile software developmentmethodology and collaboration with internal teams to deliversoftware and configuration artifacts Strong background in bashscripting in addition to experience in higher-level scriptinglanguages like Python or Node.js Experience leading projectsthrough to completion with a team of peers Experience deployingdistributed, microservice oriented applications at scale Be anenthusiastic learner, user, and advocate of our technologies Hasdesire to win as a team – make big things happen by workingtogether and being open and willing to try new ideas Stronginterpersonal and communications skills (written, verbal, &virtual) with ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborativeenvironment Must have high degree of personal integrity and abilityto maintain strict confidentiality Must have a strong drive, beself-motivated, logical, and have a keen attention to detail

AndIdeally:

Experience deploying distributed, microservice orientedapplications Experience with distributed monitoring tools such as:

Datadog, Splunk, OTEL, etc.

Experience with datastore technologies:

Kafka, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL Experiencewith Helm Experience with Go, Java/Kotlin, and/or Groovy Experiencewith Java build tools including Gradle 2 years of operationalexperience with industry-leading “big data” services technologiesLI-Hybrid LI-LP1 This is the base pay range for this position.

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors,including the candidates qualifications, skills, competencies,location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.

Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in additionto base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-salesroles), depending on company and individual performance.
