Anticipated SalaryRange:

$137,510.00 – $190,000.00. The salary range for this role isintended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location,expectations, and responsibilities. Job DescriptionEnlighten is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer with experiencein Cloud technology (AWS), Python programming skills, and a strongLinux foundation. Will significantly contribute to the developmentof custom software components and integration of open-source codeto address complex time series analysis problems through the use ofcutting edge Big Data / Cloud technology. As a result, thecandidate will be expected to work autonomously identifying andsolving problems quickly while working toward broader strategicgoals set by Architects on the team. Work is performed in a hybridrole with some work on customer site in Columbia, MD. Will need tobe able to travel to San Antonio, TX. LI-DW2 Mid-Senior LevelEssential Job Responsibilities The ideal candidate is a strongsystems integrator with an eye for opportunity to enhance,optimize, or increase robustness of an existing code base. Thecandidate should have experience with infrastructure as code and beable to leverage modern tools to define, build and manage virtualinfrastructure in the cloud. Design and implement core architectureand capabilities for software from prototype to operationalapplications. Other duties as assigned. Minimum QualificationsSecurity Clearance – A current Secret U.S. Government Securityclearance is required; U.S. citizenship required. Can hold up toTS/SCI w/Poly level clearance. 9 years of experience in PlatformEngineering or Software Development (Python or Java) with Bachelorsin related field; OR 7 years relevant experience with Masters inrelated field; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 yearsrelevant experience. Must have experience developing infrastructurein AWS. Have a solid understanding of Linux systems, hosts,networks, security, applications and proficiency in shell scripting(Shell/Bash). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Mustbe able to support some work on customer site in Columbia, MD 1-2days/week. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes asneeded. Must be willing to travel to San Antonio, TX for 3-4 daysevery three months (subject to change per customerdesires/support). Preferred Requirements

A TS/SCI

level securityclearance preferred. At least ONE of the following certifications:

CASP CE, CISSP, CSSLP, or CCSP may be required in this position asdirected by the customer. Prior experience or familiarity withDISA’s Big Data Platform or other Big Data systems (e.g. Cloudera’sDistribution of Hadoop, Hortonworks Data Platform, MapR, etc) is aplus. Experience with Kubernetes (or vendor flavor of Kubernetes)Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Gitlab-CI, Travis-CI, etc.)Understanding of agile software development methodologies and useof standard software development tool suites. (e.g., JIRA,Confluence, Github, Gitlab, etc.) Experience with puppet, ansible,maven, virtualization (ovirt, proxmox, vmware, etc) DoD 8140 / 8570IAT Level II compliance certifications may be required in thisposition as directed by the customer.
