Anticipated SalaryRange:

$137,510.00 – $190,000.00. The salary range for this role isintended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location,expectations, and responsibilities. Job DescriptionEnlighten is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer with experiencein Cloud technology (AWS), Python programming skills, and a strongLinux foundation. Will significantly contribute to the developmentof custom software components and integration of open-source codeto address complex time series analysis problems through the use ofcutting edge Big Data / Cloud technology. As a result, thecandidate will be expected to work autonomously identifying andsolving problems quickly while working toward broader strategicgoals set by Architects on the team. Work is performed in a hybridenvironment with a great team. LI-DW2 Mid-Senior Level EssentialJob Responsibilities The ideal candidate is a strong systemsintegrator with an eye for opportunity to enhance, optimize, orincrease robustness of an existing code base. The candidate shouldhave experience with infrastructure as code and be able to leveragemodern tools to define, build and manage virtual infrastructure inthe cloud. Design and implement core architecture and capabilitiesfor software from prototype to operational applications. Otherduties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Security Clearance – Acurrent U.S. Government Security clearance is not required atstart, but will be processed for a Secret level clearance; U.S.citizenship required. 9 years of experience in Platform Engineeringor Software Development (Python or Java) with Bachelors in relatedfield; OR 7 years relevant experience with Masters in relatedfield; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevantexperience. Must have experience developing infrastructure in AWS.Have a solid understanding of Linux systems, hosts, networks,security, applications and proficiency in shell scripting(Shell/Bash). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Mustbe able to obtain Security certification within 60 days of hire.

Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an averageof 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office. Flexibility isessential to adapt to schedule changes as needed. PreferredRequirements

A TS/SCI

level security clearance preferred. Priorexperience or familiarity with DISA’s Big Data Platform or otherBig Data systems (e.g. Cloudera’s Distribution of Hadoop,Hortonworks Data Platform, MapR, etc) is a plus. Experience withKubernetes (or vendor flavor of Kubernetes) Experience with CI/CDpipelines (e.g. Gitlab-CI, Travis-CI, etc.) Understanding of agilesoftware development methodologies and use of standard softwaredevelopment tool suites. (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Github, Gitlab,etc.) Experience with puppet, ansible, maven, virtualization(ovirt, proxmox, vmware, etc) DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level IIcompliance certifications may be required in this position asdirected by the customer.
