Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design & Implementation Assist in the deployment and configuration of servers, storage, and virtualization solutions. Lead the implementation and integration of new infrastructure technologies. Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure components. System Administration & Troubleshooting Perform advanced system administration for Windows and Linux environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, including outages and performance bottlenecks. Conduct capacity planning and support disaster recovery initiatives. Documentation Develop and maintain detailed infrastructure documentation, including diagrams, SOPs, and workflows. Create and share best practices with internal teams via knowledge bases and documentation portals. Technical Expertise & Support Provide technical leadership on infrastructure-related initiatives. Monitor infrastructure health and security, and proactively identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, DevOps, and networking. Automation & Orchestration Automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Ansible , Terraform , and scripting languages (e.g., Python , Bash ). Streamline deployment and operations through infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, system administration, or a similar role. Proficient with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware , Hyper-V ). Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS , Azure , or GCP ). Strong scripting experience in Python , Bash , or PowerShell . Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes . Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices. Experience with monitoring and performance tuning tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Infrastructure certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect , Azure Administrator , VMware VCP ). Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery tools (e.g., Veeam , Zerto ). Experience with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD tools. Previous experience in a hybrid on-premise/cloud environment.
