Knoxville, TN or Roswell,GA)A Cruit Group client, a leader in innovative technologysolutions, is seeking a Solution Architect or Senior SolutionArchitect to join their team. This role is instrumental indesigning and implementing scalable architecture solutions thatalign with business goals and technical standards. The position canbe remote for the right candidate, but preference will be given tothose based in Knoxville, TN, or Roswell, GA.

KeyResponsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand businessrequirements and translate them into architectural designs. Identify required components to solve business challenges andperform gap analysis. Document and communicate findings related to technicalsolutions. Mentor Solutions Architects in discovery activities anddocumentation. Develop architecture diagrams using tools like Visio or Lucidthat adhere to enterprise architecture standards. Define architecture components, including business, data,network, and security flows. Outline and document disaster recovery (DR) requirements,including RPO, RTO, Hosting Regions, and Environments. Present architecture designs to IT and business stakeholders toensure alignment. Create reusable reference architectures and design patterns inenterprise repositories (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint). Oversee architecture updates and coordinate changes through thereview process. Support strategic planning and long-term technical roadmaps fortechnology solutions. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, andindustry standards.

Inaddition to data experience, candidates should be prepared todiscuss: Application and API deployment CI/CD and orchestration Containers Design work they have personally executed Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) / ServerlessArchitecture Decoupling technologies Scalability and elasticity fundamentals

Key Qualifications &Experience:

5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similarrole. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relatedfield, or equivalent experience. Experience with observability, microservices, serverlesscomputing, APIs, and high availability/DR design. Hands-on expertise in AWS (required); Azure is a plus. Experience with integration platforms (Mulesoft stronglypreferred). Familiarity with design tools (Visio, Lucid, draw.io); Visiopreferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communicationskills. Experience conducting requirements discovery, gap analysis, andpresenting architectural designs. Experience with data platforms is a plus, but notrequired. Candidates with deep expertise in AI or Databricks are unlikelyto be a fit for this role.
