Jr. Systems Engineer – Position Available In Williamson, Tennessee

Job Description:

Very well established, stable company, with a national presence,this Franklin, TN, operation is looking to hire a Jr. SystemsEngineer who is interested in continuing their careerprogression. The following is a list of the main essential duties andresponsibilities of the position: ?Provide liaison communications between the Systems Engineeringstaff and the help desk staff. This will involve engaging both ofthese groups, as well as the user community, to build projectsbased on necessary issues revolving around desktop applications andsupport. ?Support client/server based applications and serve as a secondtier level of support for the help desk staff. ?Daily work will comprise of both help desk and system engineeringduties. ?Document and track issues utilizing internal ticketing system toensure timely resolution and documentation for futurereferences. ?Responsible for the project management of assignments that fallwithin the scope of this position. ?Assist in the development and implementation of policies andprocedures to ensure effective and efficient operation of theInformation Systems department. ?Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager ofSystems Engineering. ?Obtain certification as a Microsoft Certified SystemsAdministrator (MCSA) to help attain the position as SystemsEngineer as part of future growth.

Qualifications:

?A couple of years of technical support experience required. ?Solid familiarity with Active Directory, Windows 7, Windows Server2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 and MS Office is desired. ?N+ and current Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalentcertifications) highly desired. ?Functional experience in a VMWare environment a big plus.

Preferred:
