PingWind is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of the supply chain, as well as evaluating risks to the supply chain. The Cyber Security Analyst will be looked upon to formally classify vulnerabilities, perform risk analysis on vulnerabilities for prioritization, provide risk rating for identified vulnerabilities considering Army mission impact, and provide formal mitigation recommendations for addressing vulnerabilities that may have strategic implications on TSMO’s mission.
Responsibilities:
Assess system and component criticality, map supply chains, identify critical suppliers, assess supply chain threats and vulnerabilities, conduct risk identification and mitigation, and monitor mitigation effectiveness throughout the acquisition lifecycle. Continuously monitor the supply chain for new or imposed risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. Maintain awareness of emerging threats and best practices related to supply chain risk management (SCRM). Support efforts adjacent to Supply Chain Risk Management, including program protection planning, anti-tamper planning, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages planning, obsolescence planning and management, and cybersecurity impacts. Analyze and interpret cyber threat intelligence with a focus on threats impacting the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities affecting defense contractors and their supply chains.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT security role. Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences. Robust problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data. Must have a
TOP SECRET
security clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI. On-site presence with the customer at Redstone Arsenal is a must. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
