CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Test Engineer to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in Huntsville, AL. The selected individual will be on Government Site Full Time to provide test and evaluation engineering support to meet client requirements for an Army hypersonic rocket and missile program.

This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for designing and executing Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army missile systemsLead and support component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing; test types may include Environmental, EMI/EMC, Safety, Human Factors, Live FireEvaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD)Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the system’s featuresReport findings to ensure the final product meets specifications, working closely with development teams across the product lifecycleThis position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systemsRequired qualifications to be successful in this role:

BS or BA degree10 years test and evaluation experienceExperience of following Government test plans to operate UUTs and test equipment inClimatic and Electromatic environments listed to validate the functionality and quality ofcomplex Army missilesystemsExperience using EMI/EMC chambers2 years’ experience in weapon system qualification testing (can be part of the 10 years above)•Active DoD Secret security clearanceDesired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

Experience supporting Army or other DoD programs.

Knowledge of hypersonic weapons systems.

Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
