The Work:
Develop content for cyber defense tools to enhance security measures.
Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting to identify patterns and potential threats.
Recommend corrections for computing environment vulnerabilities to mitigate risks.
Identify network mapping and OS fingerprinting activities.
Determine the operational and safety impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
Review cyber defense service provider reporting structure and provide feedback.
Identify anomalous network activity and potential threats to network resources.
Validate network alerts and recommend remediation strategies.
Document cybersecurity incidents and escalate issues that may cause ongoing impact.
Perform continuous monitoring of system activity to detect and respond to cybersecurity attacks and intrusions.
Analyze network traffic anomalies and validate intrusion detection system alerts.
Isolate and remove malware from the network.
Communicate daily network event and activity reports to stakeholders.
Develop organizational and system security posture trend reports.
Maintain currency of cyber defense threat conditions and advise stakeholders on vulnerability compliance.
Resolve computer security incidents and recommend threat and vulnerability risk mitigation strategies. Here’s what you need: 8 years of Cyber and/or IT Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience conducting malware analysis, DFIR or Threat Hunt investigations Splunk experience
Active Top Secret required with ability to obtain SCI
