SMS is seeking highly motivated experienced Information AssuranceManager in support of a dynamic team at Maxwell AFB, Gunter Annex,AL. Support the ISSM maintaining the authorization of the systemthroughout its lifecycle. Provide support and technical expertiserelated to Defense in Depth principles and technology in securityengineering designs and implementation. controls, anddetermine which controls are applicable to the application, as wellas document implementation in security matrix. Coordinate continuously with ISSM on all matters concerningInformation Systems (IS) security to ensure full compliance withapplicable security directives. Implement and enforce all DoD Air Force IA policies and proceduresusing the guidance within this instruction and applicablespecialized IA publications, to include but not limited to DoDI8510.Ensure all users have the requisite security clearances,supervisory need-to-know authorization, and are aware of their IAresponsibilities (via IA training) before being granted access toAir Force information systems. Ensure all users receive IA refresher training on an annualbasis. Ensure IT is operated, used, maintained, and disposed of properlyand in accordance with the IT’s security A&A documentation asprescribed by Air Force Instruction. Conduct reviews and technical inspections to identify and reportpotential security weaknesses and/or vulnerability finding toensure that all security features applied to a system areimplemented and functional. Apply auditing and computer systems documentation to verify thatany identified IS weaknesses noted are fully addressed anddiscussed with the government. Report IA incidents or vulnerabilities to the installationWCSO. CCNA or PCNSA or MTA DoD Air Force IA policies and procedures using the guidance withinthis instruction and applicable specialized IA publications, toinclude but not limited to DoDI 8510.Windows Desktop OperatingSystems (Windows 10) Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Office Products (2016-2019 / Office 365) Proficient with Computer and Server Hardware Experience with SPLUNK and ACAS is a plus.
