Network Security III (Boundary | N-JRSS) Gray Link Technologies LLC Montgomery, AL 36114 Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our network infrastructure and ensuring the integrity of our data systems. This role requires a strong understanding of security protocols, threat detection, and risk management, as well as the ability to implement effective security measures across various platforms. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain network security architectures to protect sensitive information. Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents promptly. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using various Attack Frameworks. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation in line with IT governance best practices. Engage in computer forensics investigations to analyze breaches or incidents as needed. Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies to continually improve our security posture. Experience Proven experience in network security engineering or a related field. Familiarity with Attack Frameworks and their application in threat modeling. Proficiency in computer forensics techniques and tools. Experience working with networking equipment from vendors like Juniper is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations quickly. An understanding of the AFNET and DoD JRSS Environment. Minimum certification requirements are CompTIA Sec+ and Palo Alto PCNSA.
