GaN is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst in support of PEO Aviation located in Huntsville, AL. This is an intermediate level position. The successful candidate will work with PEO Aviation’s Cyber Team as the lead for system access control among other cyber duties as assigned. This role contributes to achieving the appropriate confidentiality, availability, and integrity of the command’s data.
Duties:
Under general supervision, performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Evaluates and verifies access requests. Conducts accurate evaluation of the level of security required. Creates new identity records in the identity database and performs appropriate edits and deletions to existing identity records. Monitors, Manages and Report Access Management activities through the Army Account Validation System (AVS) and program specific means. Ensures that the user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures and training to maintain security. Assist with RMF compliance through the development of authorization and accreditation documentation and the use of eMASS. Use required cybersecurity tools used within DoD architectures to achieve and maintain compliance. Apply knowledge of information assurance policy and procedures to implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments. Other cyber related duties as assigned.
Qualities:
Ability to interpret and apply DOD and Army level cyber instructions and regulations Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
