SECURITY SPECIALIST
Jacksonville, FL Position Description You will serve as a
SECURITY SPECIALIST
in the
FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST
of
FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze. Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will monitor, facilitate and implement policy and procedures for Industrial Security.
You will maintain records management for Continuous Evaluation, utilizes 5 CFR 731, SECNAV M 5510.30C and DoD NISP guidelines.
You will serve as a program specialist and advisor to and for FRCSE Jacksonville in the area of program administration.
You will assist the Security Manager in the coordination and management of the Security Clearance Program.
You will advise Security Manager and designed Contracting Officer’s Security Representative (COSR) of recommendations for proper course of action.
