What we are looking for:
To help us on our mission, we are looking for a talented and highly ambitious Network Security Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions for the internal back office and production networks . You will work in an international environment to achieve common goals and objectives. Design and deploy on-premise and cloud networking solutions
Develop and implement a zero trust networking strategy to secure access to resources based on strict identity verification and device posture
Ensure secure communication channels and minimize attack surfaces through micro-segmentation and least-privilege access controls
Develop centralized logging infrastructure to aggregate network security logs from various sources
Configure log sources, parsers, and alerting rules within the Security Information and Event Management (SEIM) system for efficient threat detection and response
Review and respond to network security alerts and incidents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Work closely with the Network Infrastructure, IT Operations, and Software Development teams to integrate security best practices into their workflows
Provide guidance and support to ensure secure design, development, and deployment of software and network infrastructure
Basic Qualifications:
Very strong ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, follow- through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal Easy to work with
Sense of urgency
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Proven experience in a network security engineering role, with a focus on zero trust networking and on-premise network security hardware and SEIM solutions
Proficiency in industry leading firewall and zero trust networking solutions (e.g. Zscaler, Cisco, Cloudflare, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet)
Hands-on experience with centralized logging, log source configuration, and SEIM platforms
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISSP, CISM, Security+)
Strong focus on service quality and providing the best possible user experience, with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
Comfortable working in dynamic, international environments, both as a member of cross-functional teams and independently
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Or equivalent experience What we offer:
