The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida and work is onsite .

Responsibilities:

Implements, maintains, configures, and monitors SEIM and DLP. Assists in the definition, development, and documentation of the business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications needed to develop new software programs and applications. Performs network discovery. Configures SEIM to consume logs from devices. Configures DLP to classify data sources. Facilitates and participates in information security incident response activities, utilizing SEIM and DLP. Configures SEIM rules to detect security events, incidents, and threats. Configures OLP rules to prevent loss or exfiltration of confidential data. Analyzes logs and data sources to design and implement detection rules. Liaises with network administrators, database administrators, systems analysts, and business owners to implement, maintain, and improve SEIM monitoring and DLP policies Required to demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service. This includes, but not limited to, acting in a responsive, professional, courteous manner with the employees, customers, and public Client serves. Potential candidate must possess the following: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology or other engineering or technical discipline. Six (6) or more years of successful network engineering, and/or SOC analyst experience. Experience implementing, configuring, or managing, SEIM or DLP. Ability to implement/configure SEIM and DLP systems. Ability to monitor and maintain SIEM and DLP systems. Skilled in performing network discovery to identify new devices and consume their logs in SEIM, or classify their data in DLP. Ability to identify use cases, and design/configure

SEIM/DLP

rules which address enterprise information security needs. Ability to provide support via

SEIM/DLP

to facilitate, and participate in, information security incident response activities. Ability to design logic to detect security threats. Proficient in designing regular expressions. Firm knowledge of network operating principles. Proficient in mathematics. Ability to analyze and interpret syslog data. Ability to process information logically. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments. Ability to communicate technical information effectively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Preferred:

Microsoft Certified Solutions or Professional Developer or similar may be helpful but not required. State of Florida Financial Systems, HR and Administration Systems; Experience with systems to include: CDC+, NG-QSI, FRS, Resource Directory, HRTS (Preferred but not required).
