Required Qualifications
A bachelor s degree or master s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer
Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or seven (7) years of equivalent work experience is required. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable.
The Department requires the following experience, skills, and knowledge for this position: A minimum of seven (7) years of IT experience within one or more specialty areas; Expertise surrounding information systems, networking theory, and architecture standards in areas of expertise; 10 or more years of experience managing large-scale service deliveries, particularly in government or public-sector IT environments; Experience within corrections, law enforcement, or public safety domains is advantageous due to the unique challenges of managing high-risk communication flows and public engagement; Proven experience in a technical advisory or service delivery management role; Strong leadership and team management skills; Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; In-depth knowledge of technical governance and industry best practices; Strong communication and presentation skills; Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; and The role requires the ability to thrive under pressure, especially during critical project phases.
Preferred Qualifications
The Department prefers the Candidates to have the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position: Relevant certifications (e.g., Information Technology Infrastructure Library [ITIL], Project Management Professional [PMP], etc.).
