Senior Manager, Cloud Engineering The Sr. Manager, CloudEngineering oversees defining the basic principles and patternsthat will help the wider technology organization to use cloudtechnologies that provide secure, scalable, resilient solutionsthat foster innovation and speed up velocity. This role will managedifferent priorities, as well as be able to guide and impact thewider technology organization. The leader should know howorganizational models and technology selection affect the cloudsolutions’ speed, cost, and usability. This leader will work wellwith technology leaders and engineers to make sure the prioritiesare clear and to help reduce backlogs when needed. They will useand manage their resources wisely to achieve the goals in anefficient and effective way.
Required Education and Experience :

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages individuals and groups, including first line managers orsupervisors. Allocates responsibilities and/or packages of work,including supervisory responsibilities; delegates responsibilitiesas appropriate and provides support / guidance to the team Guidesthe staffing, talent identification, performance management andassociate development processes for their function. Proactivelyworks to ensure effective working relationships within the team andwith those whom the team interacts; partners with key stakeholdersto achieve results. Aligns objectives of function with companystrategy; ensures goals and priorities are established for theentire functional area and cascaded to all associates. Collaboratewith strategic partners to develop and implement prioritizationcriteria in support of the most valuable portfolio work. Worksacross functions to ensure collaboration for shared goals andinfluences improvements of complex business and IT processes toenhance company performance. Effectively communicates decisions,plans and priorities at all levels and aligns across teams. -Understand industry best practices and challenge the status quo tosupport continuous improvement. Create strategies to guide theconsumption of Cloud (Platform as a Service, Container as aService, Infrastructure as a Service, and Software as a Service) inaccordance with security architectures and frameworks. Creategovernance frameworks for the secure consumption of cloud resourcesin accordance with security standards and regulatory obligations. -Establish risk management practices and participate as a liaisonbetween technology, security, and audit for cloud-relatedactivities. Establish strategies for operationalizing clouddeployed assets, creating patterns for monitoring, assetmanagement, and incident response. Evangelize and guide in theestablishment of an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) mindset andsupporting organizational model. Advises on options, risks, andimpact of changes in the business to ensure long termsustainability.
Technical Skills :
Manages complex IT services.
Direct experience in the transformation of cloud strategies andtheir operationalizing execution with governance, and security.
Workload placement within a multi cloud strategy with wellarchitected framework reviews. Comfort with ambiguity and able toindependently drive resolution of issues and challenges. Excellentwritten/verbal communication and facilitation skills forcommunicating at all levels (employees and leaders); includingstrong presentation skills. – Provides technical leadership to anIT operation; ensures metrics and procedures are defined / followedand all agreed service levels are met. Proactively evaluates keysystems across assigned area and develops, then implementimprovements. Influences the plans and drives implementation ofprocesses and procedures, tools and techniques for monitoring andmanaging the performance of automated systems and services.
Monitors performance and takes corrective action where necessaryand in line with policies.
Physical Requirements:
This is primarilya sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to havethe ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend,stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
