30% Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Aircraft and Munitions Cybersecurity Test Manager for the Cyber Test Group Contract, supporting the Air Force Division’s 48th Cyber Space Test Squadron. Astrion has worked extensively with the Department of Defense executing a Technical Management and Advisory Service contract where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity or Computer Science or similar technical degree and over 10 years of relevant technical experience in the field of project management of complex systems. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
Active SECRET clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret – (Single Scope Background Investigation). US Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain
DOD 8570 IAT
Level 3 certification within 6 months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
Air Force acquisition project management experience
Experience designing and implementing test strategies for DOD software or hardware tests
Experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders to define project scope, maintain project status, develop schedules and budgets, and develop project documentation
Effective oral and written communications skills, good interpersonal communications skills and be comfortable working in a team environment
Proficient in the use and integration of MS Office Word, Excel and Power point applications
Possess excellent time management skills
Must be capable of traveling to TDY locations up to 15-20 weeks per year
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with DoD development and/or operational testing
Experience with aircraft and/or weapon systems testing/evaluation
Understanding of network security/engineering
Certifications:
CISSP, CASP, or Security+
Job experience in Aircraft and/or Weapon systems architecture/avionics/embedded systems
Passionate about cybersecurity and delivering products that exceeds expectations
Exceptional leadership skills
Exceptional organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Insatiable drive to understand unique technologies

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides support to the 48th Cyberspace Test Squadron (CTS) Cyber Range, Eglin AFB FL.
This support includes:
Oversight of cyber test events, to include test planning, coordination, execution, data reduction, analysis, and reporting
Track test requirements for team and assist team in meeting those requirements
Attend meetings with customers to help test team prepare for events
Document and communicate test results effectively to technical and non-technical user groups in written and oral formats
Develop test strategies for cybersecurity testing on DoD aircraft and weapon systems
Coordinate security analysis activities on systems and/or software to understand and identify potential vulnerabilities
