This position will lead the development and implementation of a cohesive architectural vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and enabling digital transformation. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, data management principles, and emerging technologies. They will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, aligning with FLC’s business strategy and technology trends. Establish and enforce architecture standards, policies, and best practices. Lead the design and evaluation of complex solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage. Implement and utilize relevant enterprise architecture frameworks. Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and effective execution. Enhance and implement a comprehensive FLC data strategy, encompassing data governance, data quality, data security, and data analytics. Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Design and implement a scalable and secure data architecture, supporting data warehousing, data lakes, and business intelligence. Develop and implement data quality standards and processes, ensuring accurate and reliable data. Enable data-driven decision-making by providing access to relevant data and insights. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (CCPA etc.) and implement robust data security measures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Ability to build and lead a high-performing team of enterprise architects and data professionals. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Manage the budget for enterprise architecture and data initiatives. Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Lead and manage organizational change related to enterprise architecture and data initiatives. Deep understanding of enterprise architecture and data frameworks. Expertise in data management principles and practices (e.g., data governance, data quality, data architecture). Proficiency in cloud computing, data warehousing, data lakes, and business intelligence technologies. Knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning). Experience with relevant tools and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, data modeling tools). Strong leadership and communication skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills. Ability to drive change and innovation. Strong business acumen.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Graduation from an accredited college, university, or equivalent with a master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture and data management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role. Experience with agile methodologies and industry certifications (e.g. Azure/AWS Certified) preferred. Experience in insurance, finance, association, public sector, and/or technology industries is highly encouraged.
