Sr. Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in Windows and Linux systems, with a focus on managing and mitigating vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong security knowledge and the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments on Windows and Linux systems to identify and address potential security risks.
- Implement configuration changes, patches, and hotfixes to resolve identified vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient and timely resolution of system issues.
- Design and deploy advanced security measures to protect enterprise systems.
- Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices to continuously improve system security.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for server-related incidents and security findings.
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office, Slack, ServiceNow, and Google Apps to enhance productivity and communication.
- Develop and apply automation scripts using languages like PowerShell or Python to streamline administrative tasks.
