You’ll help project teams comply with security policies, regulations, contractual obligations, and best practices. As an Associate Security Engineer, you’ll install, monitor, maintain, and optimize security hardware and software. You’ll also resolve security issues promptly and provide end-user training as needed. What you’ll do as an Associate Security Engineer Identify and assess emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and their business impact. Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, recommend remedial actions, and develop risk mitigation strategies Create and maintain security standards for firewalls, network devices, servers, applications, and databases Research, evaluate, and implement security hardware and software. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot security tools Research and propose new security technologies and architectures to support enterprise requirements Clearly explain security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical staff. Report on residual risk, vulnerabilities, and compliance issues Monitor security, troubleshoot problems, and assist with security documentation and authorization requests What you’ll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; 0-2 years of relevant work experience preferred Firewalls, VPN & remote access Encryption algorithms, public/private key infrastructure, and digital signatures SDLC security, database encryption, application vulnerability discovery, and certificate-based access Federated authentication, RBAC, Active Directory, application roles EDR/XDR, Email security, SIEM, vulnerability assessment tools Physical abilities & exposures

Engage in standard office activities such as standing, sitting, and using computers for extended periods

Occasionally:
