We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior SOCAnalyst to join our Information Security Division, SecurityMonitoring team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or LakeMary, FL – HYBRID. In this role, you’ll make an impact in thefollowing ways: Collect, analyze, and enrich event information andperform threat or target analysis duties. Interpret, analyze, andreport all events and anomalies in accordance with Computer NetworkDirectives, including initiating, responding, and reportingdiscovered events. Manage and execute multi-level responses andaddresses reported or detected incidents. Provide reporting andmetrics around security monitoring by designing dashboards forasset owners and management consumption. Coordinate and distributedirectives, vulnerability, and threat advisories to identifiedconsumers. Develop focused reporting and briefings for advancedcyber threats and activity to various teams and leaders. Providecorrelation and trending of Program’s cyber incident activity.

Create AARs and document TTPs, with the ability to do deep diveinvestigations on complex incidents. Improve the service level forsecurity operations and monitoring. Creating and maintaining systemdocumentation for security event processing. Author StandardOperating Procedures (SOPs) and training documentation. Act a SMEand trainer to T2 and T1 personal as needed. To be successful inthis role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelors degree incomputer science or a related discipline, or equivalent workexperience required, advanced degree preferred. 8 years ofexperience in information security or related technology experiencerequired, experience in the securities or financial servicesindustry is a plus. Must have at least two (2) certifications, froma respectable security organization (e.g. based on U.S. DOD8570standard) Background in hands on computer and networking experienceto include an understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and major Internetprotocols. Understanding of network, desktop and servertechnologies, including experience with network intrusion methods,network containment, segregation techniques and technologies suchas Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion ProtectionSystems (IPS). 5 years Intrusion monitoring, incident response andmitigation, web application security, threat research, pen testingor intelligence analysis. Ability to read and write scripts invarious languages. (php, ksh, python, powershell, SQL, and orsimilar) 5 years using Splunk, ArcSight and/or similar SIEMexperience. Strong verbal and written communication skills,including the ability to provide technical thought leadership onsecurity incident investigation calls with other technology teams,and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into plainEnglish for consumption by non-technical audiences.
