Months Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, CrowdStrike, Tenable). Perform vulnerability scanning and threat hunting. Analyze incidents and support incident response activities. Support internal/external audits and create POA&Ms. Coordinate with teams to ensure secure systems and applications. Help maintain security frameworks like
NIST 800-53.
Assist with awareness training and reporting to senior leadership. Oversee both Windows and Linux system security configurations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security or Assurance.
Experience with:
Network, OS, database, and application security.
NIST 800-53
standards. Cloud environments. Tenable vulnerability tools and CrowdStrike EDR. System administration (Windows and Linux). Preferred Certifications (Highly Desired): CISSP, CISA, or CISM (Must upload proof of certification if possessed)
Additional Notes:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Candidate should be comfortable working in a hybrid setup. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
