Cybersecurity Analyst (Bilingual – English Preferred)

Position Overview:
The Client is seeking a highly qualified Cybersecurity Analyst to support its Information Security Team. The selected candidate will contribute to cybersecurity posture by monitoring security tools, ensuring compliance, and responding to threats in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, CrowdStrike EDR, DLP, and Tenable vulnerability scanners. Maintain and configure the CrowdStrike platform, including alert triage, threat hunting, and endpoint coverage. Analyze security data to identify risks, respond to threats, and fulfill intelligence collection requirements. Coordinate security operations in alignment with federal, state, and organizational compliance standards. Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments; recommend and implement mitigation measures. Prepare and update incident response plans; execute response actions in accordance with DHS and Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) guidelines. Ensure regular audit log monitoring and support internal/external audit evidence requests. Assist in secure systems development, access control planning, and data protection strategy. Create and maintain Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) to track and remediate security weaknesses. Provide security metrics, awareness training, and risk communication to stakeholders. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in information assurance practices, frameworks, and tools.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field from an accredited institution. (Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree on a year-for-year basis.) Minimum of 5 years of IT experience , including at least 1 year in Information Security or Assurance . Minimum 3 years of experience in information security operations. Proficiency in network, OS (Windows/Linux), database, and application security . Experience with cloud security solutions and system administration on both Linux and Windows platforms. Hands-on experience with NIST 800-53 and/or
CMS MARS-E/ARC-AMPE
compliance frameworks. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) Experience implementing or maintaining compliance with Federal/State regulations . Strong knowledge of next-generation security technologies and practices. Ability to develop and execute information security strategies and align them with business objectives.
