My Direct Client in the Banking/Financial Services Industry is Hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer (Fully Remote – Contract to Hire)

Bristol or Stamford, CT; Manhattan, Jericho, or Yonkers, NY (They get together once a month for in-person work and team-building exercises). Position Description The Cybersecurity Engineer will design, implement, and maintain critical security controls across the enterprise. With a primary focus on Endpoint Security, Privilege Access Management, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP), this role ensures the organization’s data is safeguarded, access to critical systems is controlled, and endpoint devices remain secure. This position is crucial in identifying and mitigating risks, improving overall security posture, and responding to security incidents effectively. Key Responsibilities Security Controls Management Privileged Access Management – CyberArk Endpoint Security Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Risk Assessment and Management Compliance and Auditing Security Awareness and Training Qualifications Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, with expertise in EDR, CASB, DLP, and Endpoint Security technologies. Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST and

ISO 27001.

Proven experience in implementing and managing CASB solutions. Proficiency in DLP concepts and methodologies to protect sensitive information. Hands-on experience with endpoint security solutions. Skilled in security incident response and investigation processes. Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) is highly desirable.
