KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Enterprise Architecture, AIEnablement to join our Digital Nexus organization. This is a hybridrole.
Responsibilities:
Lead organizational transformation by researching AItechnologies and defining technical strategies for KPMG’s portfolioand enterprise-level solutions to reduce costs, increaseefficiencies, enhance capabilities, mitigate risks, and bolstersecurity Develop and maintain AI reference architectures and patternsfor strategic technology initiatives Conduct research and contribute to the development of AIroadmaps, including product selection, versions, upgrades,projects, and milestones Collaborate with KPMG Business Teams and Innovation Team toevaluate business demands in the early stages of projects todetermine the appropriate AI software, integration technologies,system architectures, and patterns to meet business objectivesefficiently which may involve single solution evaluations ormatrixed evaluations of multiple solutions through research, proofof concept, or scoped testing Provide solution-level technical design and architecturalleadership, including documenting and diagramming the logical,physical, and process views across multiple technology domains Work with project teams to assist in the delivery of AIsolutions or foundational implementations by providing guidance toapplication, engineering, and operations teams as needed Act with integrity, professionalism, and personalresponsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous workenvironment
Qualifications:
Minimum eight years of recent IT Architecture experience withsome focused experience in AI technologies, supporting a SaaS andplatform-centric strategy and implementation cycle with the abilityto integrate in support of an enterprise Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university ispreferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED required Proficiency in extending AI on platforms such as ServiceNow,SAP, Salesforce, and/or Power platforms to support best-in-classdesktop and mobile experiences; knowledge of mobile technologies,mobile architecture options (Native, Hybrid, Web), and mobiledesign best practices for authentication, Single Sign-On, datahandling, encryption of data at rest, performance, and userexperience General understanding of SDLC methodologies (waterfall,agile) General understanding of operating system models (Linux,Windows), hardware architectures, distributed computingarchitectures, storage technology (SAN/NAS/DAS), servervirtualization, memory management, networking, system maintenance,disaster recovery, database failover models, database theory anddesign, Security/Identity Management (Okta, AD), authentication andauthorization (Kerberos, Tivoli), Business Intelligence platforms,dashboards, data mining and visualization tools (Power BI,QlikView), mobile application development, and serviceintegration Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration,analytical, and presentation skills to lead an environment drivenby client service and teamwork; must be able to set goals andparticipate in strategic initiatives for a team, foster thedevelopment of high-performance teams, and interface with alllevels of the organization; capability to participate in thedevelopment of resource plans and structures and influenceorganizational priorities Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without theneed for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
