Endpoint Engineer Position Available In Essex, Massachusetts

Description

• Build and manage Windows 365, App-V environments or similar.
• Review, assess and mitigate endpoints in Intune. oRemove/retire devices that are no longer in use. oDetermine appropriate ownership (personal or corporate) of all mobile devices and categorize appropriately. oIdentify personal Windows PCs currently enrolled and remove.
• Review weekly and ad hoc reports from Information Security team and mitigate vulnerabilities as necessary
• Implement PatchMyPC reporting solution on Azure SCCM server for Retail POS systems
• Plan, test and execute iOS and Android upgrades where appropriate
• Plan, test and execute device firmware upgrades where appropriate
• Provide support for Lead Engineer’s work on ongoing projects
• Migrate mobile devices to CNET wireless SSID
• Enroll Loss Prevention Genetec servers into Intune
• Use available endpoint analytics tools to proactively address subpar endpoint performance
• Establish roles-based access to devices based on IT staff geography/responsibility Skills intune, virtualization, Microsoft, encryption, Sccm, Desktop engineering, patch management software, loss prevention, mdm Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Design, deploy and manage physical and virtual endpoints (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
• Lead initiatives involving Windows 365 and/or other virtual desktop platforms
• Implement and maintain application virtualization technologies (e.g. App-V or similar)
• Automate device provisioning, patching and software deployment using tools such as Intune, SCCM or Jamf
• Collaborate with Information Security teams to enforce endpoint security policies, encryption, EDR and compliance
• Create and maintain documentation and contribute to internal knowledgebases.
