Day in the Life of the Building of the Future https://youtu.be/pdZMNrDJviY What you will do Johnson Controls is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Product Manager to join our Cloud Security SaaS Platform team, focusing on cloud-based access control and video surveillance security solutions. As a mid-level individual contributor, you will play a crucial role in the development and management of our cloud security Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product line, ensuring it meets market needs and drives business growth. We prefer to have this individual onsite in our Westford, MA, facility, so this would be a perfect role for someone commuting distance to Westford, MA, or able/willing to relocate. How you will do it
Product Development:
Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to develop and enhance access control and video surveillance cloud security products. Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product strategy and development.
Product Roadmap:
Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key features, enhancements, and timelines. Prioritize initiatives based on business value and customer impact.
Customer Engagement:
Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and validate product concepts. Use customer insights to drive continuous improvement.
Performance Metrics:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize product performance
Documentation and Training:
Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and training materials. Support sales and marketing teams with product knowledge.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders. Ensure alignment with business goals and manage expectations. What we look for Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in the physical security product industry, access control, video surveillance, or cloud SaaS and IoT products. Strong understanding of access control technologies, video surveillance systems, and cloud SaaS subscription business models. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 20%.
