PositionPurpose:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SeniorUEBA (User and Entity Behavior Analytics) Engineer to lead theimplementation, and optimization of advanced security analyticssolutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise inthreat detection, data analysis, and behavioral analytics, drivinginitiatives to enhance the organization’s security posture throughproactive monitoring and anomaly detection. This role requires adeep understanding of security analytics, behavioral baselining,data integration, and threat detection methodologies. This rolewill serve as a key technical leader, mentor, and strategic advisorwithin the cybersecurity team to enhance threat detection andoverall security posture.

• Solution Design & Leadership:

  Architectand maintain scalable UEBA solutions, integrating with SIEMs, datalakes, and other security technologies.

Design & Implementation:

Deploy and configure UEBA platforms to monitor and analyze user andentity behaviors across IT and cloud environments.

• AnomalyDetection:

  Develop and refine behavioral analytics models to detectcomplex threats, including insider threats, lateral movement, andaccount compromises.

• Data Integration:

  Collect and integrate datafrom multiple sources, including SIEMs, authentication logs,endpoint systems, and network devices, to enrich securityanalytics.

• Incident Investigation:

  Provide in-depth analysis andinvestigation of alerts triggered by anomalous behavior.

• IncidentResponse Support:

  Provide expert guidance and technical analysisfor security incidents involving anomalous user and entitybehavior.

• Threat Hunting:

  Assist in proactive threat huntingefforts using behavioral insights from the UEBA platform.

• Optimization:

  Continuously fine-tune analytics models to reducefalse positives and improve detection capabilities.

• Mentorship &Collaboration:

  Guide and mentor junior engineers, fosteringknowledge sharing and technical skill development.

• StakeholderEngagement:

  Partner with security operations, threat intelligence,and leadership teams to define UEBA strategies and implement usecases.

• Reporting & Documentation:

  Develop dashboards, reports,and detailed documentation for technical and non-technicalstakeholders.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies withall policies and standards.

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor’sdegree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics,mathematics, engineering, computer science). Requires 4

• 6 yearsof related experience.

Or equivalent experience acquired throughaccomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skillreflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:

• 5years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on securityanalytics, threat detection, or UEBA solutions. Hands-on experiencewith UEBA platforms (e.g., Exabeam, Gurucul, Splunk UEBA, MicrosoftSentinel).
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and threatvectors.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.) fordata analysis and automation.
• Experience with data normalization,correlation, and event analysis.
• Deep understanding of SIEMtechnologies, data pipelines, and event management processes.
• Knowledge of SIEM platforms and their integration with UEBAsolutions.
• Experience with machine learning models for threatdetection and behavioral analytics.
• Hands-on experience withcloud security analytics (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with

NIST, MITRE

ATT&CK, and other security frameworks. Soft Skills

Pay Range:

$85,300.00

• $158,100.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’sskills, experience, education, and other job-related factorspermitted by law. Total compensation may also include additionalforms of incentives.
